Princeton travelers took a step back in time to visit the Shangri-la-like Kingdom of Bhutan in the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Professor Lincoln Hollister, intimately familiar with the Dragon Kingdom from his many visits, shared his vast knowledge of the spectacular geological landscape and the legendary culture. Visits to imposing dzongs, meeting the warm Bhutanese people and an exhilarating hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery were highlights of the Journey.
