Mexico's Monarchs
February 10-18, 2009
Princeton Journeys Albums > Mexico's Monarchs
Each year, up to a billion monarchs embark on a 2,500 mile journey across North America to their ancestral wintering grounds in the forest sanctuaries in central Mexico. A group of Princetonians was able this winter to accompany Lincoln Brower '53, who has been described as "the continent's foremost authority on monarch migration," to these over-wintering sites.
