A bundled-up group of Princetonians set out from Bergen, Norway, northward across the Arctic Circle and into the land of the polar bears and the Svalbard Archipelago. Accompanied by Michael Lemonick, the group discussed issues of environmental importance, from the endangered arctic habitat to how media deals with disseminating science. Along the way, they saw their share of walrus, bird life, and polar bears.
