Having set sail from Beijing, China, a determined group of Princetonians led by Professor Ed Turner charted a course for the center-line of the longest total solar eclipse of our lifetimes. Luckily, weather ultimately cooperated and they were able to experience the phenomenon longer than anyone in the world. Disembarking in Kobe, the group spent another week in Japan, exploring gardens and making visits to Princeton's partners at two national observatories. | ||
